When we were designing our iPumpkin at work, we thought it’d have been really cool if we could mod the pumpkin (ie: carve it) and make a computer case out of it, with some spare parts laying around the office (it’s not like I’m not the SysAdmin or anything, right?).

Welp, looks like someone beat us to the idea:

Then we carved the logo and inserted the board into the slot. The pumpkin meat makes very good rails.

Great stuff. I’d never have thought about putting fans in the eyes for cooling. And wouldn’t you want to seal the pumpkin with some sort of glossy stuff to prevent it from rotting with your computer equipment inside? Ah, well, I guess they weren’t looking for the uber-cool long-term pumpkin case mod…
