I Totally Missed It…

After closely watching my post count in WordPress for over a week, somehow I managed to totally miss my recent 150-post landmark… Ladies and gents, this post marks #153…

Thanks for your continued support, hope I am able to add at least a little something to your day…

Blockbuster Keeping it Real?

Anyone out there use Blockbuster Online (ala Netflix)?

Personally, I’ve been using them for several months. Originally, my queue (of approximately 100 videos) was about 30% available. The rest of them were a mix of “Short Wait” and “Long Wait” titles (ie: how long it will be before I can get it, regardless of placement in my queue).

Recently however, I’ve noticed that 98% of the titles in my queue are Available Now (ie: they will ship as soon as their turn comes up in my queue). I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this (ie: Blockbuster majorly upped their stock), or if my selections had changed in some way (ie: newer more popular movies)…

Anyone got any ideas?

More Windows Vista Info

For those who didn’t know (I didn’t), Microsoft has an entire Vista portal setup on MSDN. You can find out virtually anything about the upcoming OS here!

Rockstar Definately Not Limp…

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it absolutely hilarious that despite (because of?) the negative publicity afforded to Rockstar games by the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas “sex scandal” it was still the number 4 best selling game in June, 2005?

Check out the list here.

Windows Vista Screenshots

Welp, looks like we’ve got some screenshots of the new Windows Vista Beta 1 now. Surprisingly, they came directly from Microsoft.

From Ed Bott’s post about it:

Bear in mind this beta release is mostly about plumbing and infrastructure. The interface you see will change many times between now and next year, when the final version ships.

Dear god I hope so! The blue was bad enough. If I have to look at that dark black theme for 18 hours a day, I’ll kill myself…
